Jamila Thompson, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), joins Wiley partner Derick Holt to discuss Jamila’s career in international trade, her time in former Representative John Lewis’s office and their work on Free Trade Agreements, the Biden administration’s worker-centric trade policy, and USTR’s stance on equity within trade policy.

And that’s where the equity aspect comes in; where we have to think about women, communities of color, and tribal communities to bring them all into the conversation about what equitable trade looks like…It can’t be one siloed conversation.”

In this episode of the “Making Trade Inclusive for All Americans” podcast series, Wiley partner Derick Holt is joined by House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina. Derick and Rep.
